The banking system is witnessing a strong loan growth. A recent report by 1Lattice (Prev PGA Labs) revealed that there's been an uptick in overall outstanding loans, of around 16 per cent, in June 2023.
BFSI sector recorded a steady credit with strong growth in overall outstanding loans increasing by approximately 16 per cent on a yoy basis in June, 2023. Deposit growth picked up and is likely to see further uptick in the current rising interest rate regime.
